The most mysterious song on the internet--found!

A few years back I read an interesting story about a guy who recorded songs off the radio. He stumbled upon an old tape where there was a song that no one could identify and he either didn't catch the artist or maybe he never got it from the d. j. announcing it in the first place. After posting his story, someone found the entire song and uploaded it but no one could find out who recorded it. (My original post can be read here.)

Well, lo and behold the song was finally identified recently! It was from an obscure German group that didn't hit it big. The follow-up story can be read here.

Nice that they're getting back together to do a new version of it! It was kind of a catchy new wave-like song I guess.

It's assumed the first version was a demo and the actual release seems to be below, as there's a picture of the cassette with it being the opening track.

I guess I should start doing these like my regular music posts where I post the links at the end too. I just thought with those it's better to sum them up at the end when I go on for too long (like I usually do).

Already did with Mr. Big's response with the first post Seriously, I don't see why you can't let a song just BE a song.

At least it's finally being put to rest with a lot of people saying it was a group called Statues in Motion. Even though they had a similar sound, why the hell couldn't someone find and put up the song if it was supposedly theirs? Because you got the WRONG BAND. Duh!
