steaminfren, How did you learn to skate without falling? I can't get past the pain in the arch of my feet when I put on skates.

steaminfren , How did you learn to skate without falling? I can't get past the pain in the arch of my feet when I put on skates. I wish I could tell you that skating without falling is an option. Eating sh*t while we're doing anything is just part of the process. It makes us better, and it makes us a better person. And, after we did our best, we can look behind us, and see other people doing their best; and we understand their struggle -- because we were there. But, alas, there is a gorgeous view once you completed the struggle. And, we're waiting for you to take in the view. . .

Weirdest thing you've done on a stream? Ha! Great to see you as always, Taka. I keep my streams as PG-13 as I can. Sure, I'll drop an F-Bomb here, and there. But, for the most part, I keep it "nice". I conduct myself in public in respectable ways (Or, at least I think I do). And, to me: Being on stream is just like being in public. Story time? I was in Fort Worth, Texas for work, and I was scheduled to leave on a Saturday. But, as luck would have it, my Green Bay Packers were playing the Dallas Cowboys in a wildcard playoff game in Arlington, TX (This is American football, for those who are International)! So, I got myself a ticket in the nose bleed section, rebooked my flight, and I got my butt to the game. Now, of course, we're in Texas, so I was surrounded by Cowboy fans. But, I wasn't alone! There was a Packer fan two rows behind me. Sweet! But, as the game went on, my Packer compadre got very drunk. Which is fine, if you can behave. Well, my fren' was being very vocal with his four letter vocabulary, and there were Moms, Dads, and their kids around us. I saw a Mom stand up to take her son, and husband away from the belligerent Packer fan. I gently motioned to her husband to indicate "Hold my sweet tea, I got this". I turned, and faced up two rows and I barked "LISTEN. We are guests in this house, so you better start acting like one. If you need to walk-off your attitude, I suggest you do so". Now, for those of you who don't know me, I am a passivist at the core. I have never been in a physical altercation in my life. But, no one was saying anything, and a family was going to leave because of this dude. Also, in Wisconsin (Where the Green Bay Packers are from), life is hard. The winters are cold. Community, and family are everything. I knew this dude knew that. So, Dad stood there for a second, and the drunk Packer fan just nodded, and walked away. The family sat back down. Our drunk Packer fan came back 15 minutes later, and the only sound we heard from him was when he clapped for our team for the rest of the game. This story is not about me. It is a hat-tip to the drunk dude. He lost situational awareness, and once that was solved -- I think he remembered that we're all fans. I think of this often, when I am in public view. I always try to be nice, and kind. But when it comes to other people's kids I am on my best behavior. And, that is how I am on stream. But. on weirdness. . . Do I have a penis shaped charcuterie board hidden in the background of my stream?? Maybe. It is, PG-13 after all. . . And, yes. The Packers won that game by one point as time expired. I hugged my drunk new-fren. Happy days.

What's your favorite IRL song>? Well, my favorite song shifts week-to-week, if I was being honest. There are some songs that drift back from the ether, and embrace you like an old fren'. Which is why I chose this song. But, for context. . . Aza & I are participating in a charity event on Twitch for a dear fren'. Her Dad is going through some rapid-onset medical issues, and her live has been turned upside down in a matter of weeks. She is making the transition from I'm the daughter to I'm the caregiver. This journey feels impossible at any age. Which reminded me of this song from my playlists. . . If you care to support Aza, and our fren', check out Aza's stream when he goes live at 8AM EST tomorrow (7/20). You might just get to see my ugly mug too.
