steaminfren, I wish I had someone who was right for me. I hope to find her one day. If that's your goal, I hope you do too.

In the search of voices, are we forgetting our own music?

steaminfren , I wish I had someone who was right for me. I hope to find her one day. If that's your goal, I hope you do too. Your wish is the dream of all of our future partners. As we seek, let us spend time in the right garden. My wish is that I had the answer for you, but. . . don't pull potatoes when you want mushrooms. . .

If you feel up for it... I'd love you to share future projects and ideas you might have.. especially your idea around music and helping share that to the world.
But also any other projects you are working on?

In the search of voices, are we forgetting our own music? My quick answer is "I hope not". Our younger selves did their best navigating the world around us. We were working with more primitive tools that were in the process of upgrading. As find new voices, our music changes -- hopefully for the better. But the evolution of our internal music is something that we should be proud of. But, pride is a cruel minstrel. I always keep in front of me the music I used to be. The humility, and empathy is very grounding. Wanna' story? So; there I was: I was going home from an all you can eat Indian buffet. The food was beautifully prepared, and tasted great. I stuffed as much as I could (because, that's how we roll in America, lol), paid my bill, and got in my car to go home. But then; I sensed tragedy was on the horizon. The food was very rich compared to my normal meals. I could feel the whole buffet being FedEX'd to the other side of my digestive tract. I knew what this meant: I should be home already. Did I roll all the stop signs? Did I drive faster than I usually do? Did I cut-off a minivan? Probably. But, I was dealing with an emergency, and the clock was running in the pico-seconds. I'll save you the rest of the details, but I did make it home before the uncontrollable onslaught hit. Why this story? Everyone is going through sh*t (or, in my case, it was going through me). Sometimes we encounter people when they're either not their best, or they haven't evolved their own music yet. Let us be patient with each other. Because gluttony + pride isn't going to get you nowhere. Now I want Indian food for dinner. Delivery only, thank you. . .

Ever traveled outside the US? In typical American fashion, I have not traveled much outside the US. Excluding Mexico, and Canada (I have family in Canada, and I lived in SoCal so those countries are mandatory), I have been to Iceland, and Germany (vacation), Italy (work), and England (Heathrow airport for a layover. That counts, right? LOL). I do aspire to travel more. My brother, and I are talking about Japan -- a country we both are badly wanting to see. On my personal list, I would like to visit (in no particular order): Prague, Australia (Just because I want to drink all of Aza's Dicken's Cider), New Zealand, South Korea, Argentina (when things get more economically stable there) India, and Egypt. So, yeah. I guess I better start saving my pennies. . .

Bias alert: Earth. It's my home. But, that answer is SO LAME. I would say -- Jupiter. This CHONKY BOI has taken so many heavy blows from the cosmos for us Earthlings. It has so much mass (therefore gravity) it is an important reason that we don't look like Mars. I mean if Shoemaker–Levy 9 [1] hit Earth in 1992, we'd be DONE. Thanks, Jupiter. You the real MVP. <3 [1] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comet_Shoemaker%E2%80%93Levy_9

Do you know how to ice skate? I do! I am not great at it, but I do it with great enthusiasm. Funny story? My family is from Wisconsin, so they all know how to ice skate. I left the Badger State not long after I learned to walk for Los Angeles. So, I didn't put on ice skates for the first time until I was . . . Umm. Eight years old? My Dad took me skating, and he YEETED me all over the rink. He had a great time. Me? I got to know what it felt like to slam into the boards in a hockey rink. LOL Thanks, Dad. . . You were the best.

If you feel up for it... I'd love you to share future projects and ideas you might have.. especially your idea around music and helping share that to the world. But also any other projects you are working on? My fren'. Thanks for asking; I see what you did there. I have three categories of projects: (1) Ongoing Projects (2) Current Projects (3) Future Projects. (1) Ongoing Projects * Working on personal growth * Be better at playing music * Convince myself that Popeye's Spicy Fried Chicken isn't an "essential food group" (2) Current Projects * Reduce my sedentary lifestyle * Be a better Brother / Son / Nephew / Cousin to my family * Playing more music that I have grown to love over the years * (3) Future Projects * Learn how to "chart" music in Rocksmith * Digitize archived analog music, and play it on Twitch I can go into any of these (and happy to do so), just let me know. There is a song by Steve Vai, "The Audience is Listening" [1] . As someone who broadcasts their journey (I loathe the term streamer, but that is just me), I submit how bad I am. And, that's the best part! I hope to inspire others so share their evolution. Are you not great at cooking, but are wanting to be better? I WANT TO SEE THAT. Are you just learning a new skill, and fail all the time? I WANT TO SEE THAT. Are you camera shy, and revealing your face? I WANT TO BE THERE FOR YOU. Ahem. . . There is a Julia Child [2] video that she says about flipping something: Do it with the courage of your conviction. All that to say: Your ambitions are not a nebulous goal that you just made up. It is the courage of your convictions. And, if I can share one sprite of advice. . . People show up for that, even if you fail. Because you did the thing that will encourage others to. . . Find their voice. There should be no bigger project than to leave a legacy that inspires others to discover themselves. Which. . . I think is what Aza is doing. [1] [2]

Thank you for the kudos my friend. You help alot with that.
You know I want to hear it all. But can I start off with asking about your personal growth. How that is going? And what steps you are taking towards it?

Steven This is a pic that I took at Nationals Park the last time I ice skated. The back-story here is, every winter, the American baseball team the Washington Nationals (go sports!) turns their stadium into a winter festival. Part of that is making an ice skating rink in the middle of the outfield. I'm not in this picture, but it shows off how much effort they put into the event. (Thanks to Christina for teaching me how to upload pictures!)
