Super early stages, so I guess not even a teaser trailer. I'm on board.

Why would they get a different cast?

It kind of sounds like a reboot.

^Yeah, it sucked, what I saw of it, which I'll get to. It kind of sounds like a reboot. ReMAKE...because... I didn't see 4 yet. *hides* You didn't miss much. They, for quite a while, just remade the original. I saw about half of it on Hulu the other month. I'd say don't read any of the below due to spoilers, but, again, since they just remade the original Matrix for quite a bit through it, well, that's not really spoiling anything, is it? So I'm watching this movie; I figured that, with a low rating (a 5 something on the imdb), maybe I'd just watch an hour to see what went so wrong. For some reason there's all these cops around. Agent Smith is played by someone else though; same with the cops. They redid the dialog in regards to "I think we can handle one little girl" and "no lieutenant, your men are already dead". Huh? There's a different Trinity; eech, *that's* supposed to be her? Not real attractive. Well, she had a better butt than Carrie Ann-Moss did though, at least (yow!). So it keeps going on and on, this remake (including with her phone call to Morpheus, asking if there were Agents outside or whatever: "yes". Trinity: "God da*n it." Then you hear someone say that this isn't the way it happened. So, that *somewhat* explains it, something was changed. But they kept on remaking and remaking the first one: Neo getting rescued from being hooked up in that stasis chamber he'd been in his entire life (like the majority of everyone on Earth), his getting trained in kung fu with Morpheus (different Morpheus this time around though for some reason), the point where he put his finger in the mirror and it looked like liquid metal was overtaking him (if whoever these people were that said this isn't how it happened, why the hell didn't they keep their eye on him?), even choosing between the red and blue pill; for God's SAKES! But the thing is, unlike the amazing hero Neo would become while being in The Matrix, in real life he was actually a severe basket case. On meds. He almost jumped off a building in a suicide attempt, thinking he could fly like in The Matrix. The Matrix were actually three video games he created. Trinity was actually married with two kids, yet, for some reason, he felt *connected* to her (wonder why). I'm marking this part as an actual spoiler though: As trying to explain various things in all Matrix movies, it can be pretty complicated. Not sure if somehow the program was changed to having Neo think he was actually a video game designer but then other parts stayed the same. Someone, one of the leaders of Xion (I think) from Matrix 2 was stuck there for 20 years. So it was a fight bringing Neo back to free them, or something. So, once they were going to free Trinity from *her* stasis pod and it was starting to get good, hell, for some reason the movie disappeared from Hulu. Dammit, I had to suffer through this much and now I don't know how it ends! (And here The Roku Channel at least says "leaving soon" with *their* stuff, for God's sakes.) Unlike how the "bullet time" stuff in the original was utterly amazing at the time, there was this kung fu scene that did nothing, just wasted time when it could've been cut a bit, there was nothing special about it at all. The Sentients looked a little better this time around but that was about it. Well, that, plus three words: Neil Patrick Harris! His character was a real surprise. But other than that, this one was severely skip-worthy. I don't know what idiot thinks Matrix 5 will be a good idea when 4 was a big financial flop.
