I don't have news of an upcoming show but came across something really cool this morning  I got an e-mail from Mortiis, arguably THE guy who invented dungeon synth. One thing that's interesting is that, due to doing a lot of ambient passages, many d. synth fans consider Enya to be the "godmother of dungeon synth". She's even been interviewed for at least one dungeon synth fanzine. Don't know what her thoughts are over the whole thing. Anyway, I only just found out in the last year Mortiis has two kids. In the e-mail he talked about his daughter, who he named ENYA. And the reason for that was because he's "keeping it in the family!". Very cool |

In case someone wants to see a live, in-person ds show in Orlando from January 31st, 2025 - Feb. 1, the FLORIDA DUNGEON FEST is the place to be at Conduit + Audobon Park Church. It's believed to be the Sunshine State's very first all-DS event. Featuring: *Angmaar (FL) *Apoxupon (TX) *Assorted Potions (TX) *Chipped Topaz (NY) *Disquieting (GA) *Elyvilon (MI) *Filth Eternal (MS) *Goblet Grotto (TX) *Hillsfar (WV) *Lost Tales (TX) *Seregost (SC) *Shadow Knell (PA) *Spife (TN) *Vaelastrasz (VA) *Vorlauf (FL) Set times will be posted in the next few days. No word yet if it will be streamed either, but it's pretty cool that it's presented by Texas Dungeon Synth X Spark Booking Collective, so it's good that ds is slowly expanding to new places throughout the country. |

^They've actually had several over the months but most of the time they've been at 8 p. m. my time or later, which usually hardly anyone on here isn't on by then so I haven't mentioned them.

The next Northeast Dungeon Siege show (or NEDS) has been announced, being on March 28th - 30th, in Worcester, Massachusetts. I assume it will be streamed, as usual. Tickets go on sale next week, which I assume we'll get an artist list too; right now, due to his new VI album just being released today, the mighty Fief will be playing, at least.
