Until that comes up, I found a couple of decent albums to listen to in the meantime  First is Karaz's Tales Carved in Ancient Stone. My favorite tracks--that I will be getting as singles eventually--are 4-5 and 7. He has several other albums out by different names so maybe there's more to like from him (this is the only one I've heard). Erdenkraft's Seelen des Waldes is described as "medieval ambient music with acoustic guitars", which isn't quite accurate, as the guitars (plus some flute) are fake but they still sound good. Definitely worth a listen though (my favorite tracks are the last two). |

Finally, a new show! It was *looking* like dungeon synth artist Mahr G'Didj was doing a Southeast Dungeon Scourge show once a year but he skipped last year's, having not been online much then. However, not only is there one for next month, if anyone can actually attend it it will be at a physical venue this year for the first time yet. It will be on September 21 at Neptunes Parlour in Raleigh, North Carolina. It will be streamed on their Twitch tv channel. Performers include: *Seregost *Vaelastrasz *Foglord *Excellent Strategy Manuals Inc. (who played at his last one) *Spife *Raccoon Fink *Silk Moth Spife is the only new one to me. 3 weeks to go! |

Silk Moth only played for about 10 minutes (?!), doing no music whatsoever, just a bunch of noise/distortion mixed with ambient rain sounds for his one track.
Right now Raccoon Fink is also doing a bunch of noise/distortion, although with his first track he also had a touch of horror synth mixed in.
The rest of the order is Spife, Excellent Strategy Manuals Inc., Foglord, Vaelastrasz and Seregost.
