Are oxygen bars still a thing? Those into alternative healing claim that peoples' bodies are deprived of oxygen so they are a necessity. However, most peoples' bodies, in general, retain 97% of oxygen on average. Actual real doctors (not alternative healers) say there is no reason to get back that 3%. Bars that add aromas to oxygen could inflame parts of a person's respiratory system. There are no long-term studies for the supposed "benefits" of an oxygen bar.
Back in the 1970s there was a weird product you could buy in stores known as a "pet rock". Once the 80s hit these have been pretty much never heard from since.
Are people still getting grilles? This one never made any sense to me. They look absurd, like big braces, but the latter is for correcting oral problems (I had them myself in junior high). Million dollar question: do you still want big, dumb braces in your mouth when you're in your 50s when they have no redeeming values whatsoever (except for possibly tempting people to throw magnets at your face)?
For a while there young people were wearing their pants, shorts, etc. to the point where you could see their underwear. I didn't even think it looked good on hot females, it just looked tacky.
I say nay to all of the above except to pet rocks if I had a choice. Even if an attempted comeback was made of them I wouldn't buy one but it's the least offensive of the four (especially if you're into rock collecting).
EDIT: actually, upon looking up the pet rock on Wikipedia, they DID make a comeback after being shown in Everything Everywhere All at Once, being merchandised as a tie-in. Crazy.

Oxygen bars?
Everyone alive has had a pet rock. But you pick it up in the playground and take it home.

Never heard of an oxygen bar, but pet rocks were always a thing. I think Owen has one. They're sold in craft stores to this day.

Well, we can't put every single trend in one thread now. Kids still do that with their pants. I see that in the mall every time I go.

All of these things are still trends unfortunately. I don't know if they disappeared and came back or if they never left.

Those were all weird, but I thought Oxygen bars were the protein bars sold at the Oxygen gyms and health clubs.

The pants to the waist are still a thing among kids/teens. Pet rocks never left the craft stores. Not sure what an Oxygen bar is. The weird things never leave, huh?

I can't even tell if this is serious.

A big NAY on the pants to the knees, but I still see it almost every day. *Shudders*

The kid pants trend needs to end. It's been what, 30 years now? And I'm seeing boxer shorts every day of my life.

Omg NAY on these. I wish kids would stop with the pants. This still happens and it's gross.

It's too bad the pants nonsense is still around. Luckily I just haven't seen any of it I guess. Glad everyone else feels the same way that I do though, at least.
