Christina's Forum's 20th Anniversary

Good morning to friends near and far,
On January 18, 2003, I was up late at night and created this forum a little after midnight. Never in my teenage dreams did I anticipate a website that would still exist TWENTY years later. My forum was partly inspired by the original Hanson fanclub forum. A lot of what kept my motivation going was my never falling into the trap of social media and my preferring the concept of forums over social networking websites and apps.
Some of my original members were people I knew in real life. Others were friends from AIM chatrooms and other forums. A fun fact about the member list is that due to software changes, the registration times of the first few members are identical to mine and this bug currently cannot be fixed. Other members who joined during the 2003 software may also have a PM with a date bug which seemingly shows them a PM dated in 1969 or 1979.
This forum is missing some of its original posts made in 2003 due to my using the "forum cleanup" tool. This forum survived a ProBoards server fire in 2007. Some posts were lost and never recovered.
I appreciate everyone who helped build this community - the original members, those who come and go, those who are here now, and those who never left. We're a community of friendship, family, and the occasional crazy uncle. I appreciate the people who have made this forum a part of their lives. I truly never anticipated that this forum would help forge relationships and affect people's lives outside of the internet.
