Javier9101983, The reality is that I have no idea. The shop is open source and anyone can technically take on the enormous project of rewriting it for the new software. I don't know the original developer's intentions or plans. He technically no longer supports the current shop.

Is v6 still happening? Seems like covid and their downsizing kinda changed the whole gameplay.

Andrew, Apologies for the lack of updates, this summer and fall have been absolutely crazy, from fires and evacuations to joining VerticalScope, there hasn't been much time to breathe but the work on v6 has never stopped. We are continuing to work on cleaning up bugs, finishing up new features, and giving the general design of v6 another pass. You can expect to see a major update from us and a return to a more regular update schedule before the end of the year. With access to additional resources we hope to be able to increase our cadence of updates and have more time available to address every aspect of v6. Nothing about our current plan for v6 has changed, you should only expect improvements from here as we settle into our much bigger team.

ProBoards still has no release date for version 6. If you want to play with the new software outside of this forum, you are still welcome to visit bboybeta.proboards.com/ . I just revived the version 6 theme on this forum in case you want to play with it here. It's similar to what version 6 is expected to look like out of the box. It was created by our friend hdd. |
