Good catch. If more work is done on the page then they can add "Fictional arcades" to the category list. What's so difficult and partly why I hesitated is.. Just using Fast Times as an example: They used one mall for the exterior in the movie. They used a completely different mall for the interior in the movie. And now I'm finding out some of the stores, like the arcade were fake.

Yeah, it can be hard to find info on stuff like that nowadays. If the movie had come out 10-20 years later there'd be stuff about every single detail in it from start to finish everywhere. Not so in the pre-internet/no for home release commentary days and information becomes lost.

Does anyone remember if anything was in Married with Children?

No. I'm pretty sure a video game, much less an arcade was ever shown. The closest we ever got was an Atari computer Bud used and that was about it.

Maybe movies like Risky Business and Animal House

^Hopefully more will be added to them in time, especially the Sportsworld one, as that was around for many years and was probably pretty well known (I found a few comments about it online but that's been it...so far ) . People should find and add to it eventually, just like they did with another (probably) legendary place in a mall in a town in Missouri, being an Exhilarama branch (plus it was housed in the very first mall in the St. Louis area too). If you go here, hover over the arrow to the right of the Edit tab at top right of the page, choose History, then click on the very bottom tab of when I first put up that tiny stub of a page on there, you'll see how much its grown since I talked to Keith of Keith's Arcade about it and he gave me some info on it. The opening paragraph was from the Wikipedia Crestwood Mall page, but many more games were added from the eight that originally started it off. I've been getting the occasional e-mail alert over the years saying something was added to it.

Yeah, it's pretty damn cool. I've never been to St. Louis, much less an arcade there. So that kind of stuff is out of my hands as far as contributing anything. By the way, where the f is Potter in all of this? You'd think he'd at least make a peep here.

lol my bad. i got distracted.
anyway, before the internet was a thing, i used to go down and play arcades at the laundromat every week. they had pitfall, pacman, bubble bobble, and more.
even my old dentist had arcades. i used to play bubble bobble and asteroids religiously. my parents would get mad because whenever we went out to the mall or where ever, i would blow my money on arcades. i beat the high scores on a few games.
the best arcade game i played later on was house of the dead. survival horror game.
back then if you beat a game, people were shocked because there was no google to help you with walkthroughs. you had to use the help line which was .35-1.00 per minute, or buy magazines once a month to get information. i had nintendo power, and it gave us info on new games, hints for popular nes and arcade games. glitches didn't exist back then.

Yes, just as long as there's at least three machines in there.

Yes, just as long as there's at least three machines in there. same rule for movies? One machine wouldn't count?

Right. I wouldn't consider one machine as to being an "arcade".
