Hi all!
In a bit of unorthodox voting for the charity of the first quarter of 2015, we as a group have voted for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Taken directly from their homepage, here is the foundation's mission and goals.
To me, suicide prevention is a cause that has personally touched my life in a few ways. I know what suicide feels like from both sides of the story. I've had a friend kill himself and I know the feeling of helplessness that comes with that loss. It is full of "if only"'s. I've been on the other side of depression and can attest to the feeling of loneliness and worthlessness that comes with suicidal thoughts. I feel I'm an example that there is a light at the end of that tunnel though. There are options for everyone, and help is possible no matter your situation.
