Just curious how it became ok and even "attractive" to watch women kiss on TV. Then when it happens with 2 men, people are offended or disgusted. I don't find it hot when women kiss. I don't know why men do. It's like hey dude.... if she's gay, she doesn't want you.

Honestly I think I've grown through that stage to where I'm drooling over 2 women kissing or doing anything. It's exciting, no doubt. But I don't get all worked up like I would when I was younger. I rarely however see 2 women kissing on TV. But I don't have premium channels so I may be missing it. One of the old American Pies has a good scene with 2 women when they are locked in the closet. I'll always watch that part if I come across it. Name some more instances...so I can verify them

Somehow it just became socially acceptable. Not really sure WHY.

It seems like they put it in a lot of television shows and movies targeted towards females. And I go,"WTF? Are they trying to appeal to men with this? It's not like they have scenes targeted towards women in action movies or whatever."

Like I was watching the CW this morning and it had two women kissing in the television show "Jane the Virgin". I like seeing gay couples as much as I like seeing straight couples in television shows I like, but a lot of times it feels like those scenes are directed towards men more than actual lesbians or whoever.

To me kissing is kissing. If it's either the gay female couple off of Grey's Anatomy and or the gay male couple on How to get away with Murder. I don't care. They are only adding things like this on tv shows to make it more "sexy" and or "interesting." They just don't know how to keep a show going without adding "sex" into the mix, which is sad.

Seems like it's just the "sex sells" way of doing things. It's on Maury or Springer. You don't even have to look for it.

I can't say I've ever seen men kissing on TV. You bring up a valid point.
