I know this is why most people hate Christmas anymore, but screw it all.
The past few years I've been pretty much like, "Idk wtf I want, stop askin' hobags. ily all."
This year, because of my waves of awesomely unawesome news, I feel like allowing myself to be a crabby hooker and being materialistic this year. Which I've never been completely about the presents, either - I've always enjoyed the family time I got with my parents and my papa's side of fam. But oh man, this year I'm gonna make a long list and tell everyone to just get what they can afford. **** it. As far as I'm concerned, I have a bit of a right - and so does anyone else whose had a sh*tty year.
I really want a Nook, camera (photographyplz), fleece fabric, good reliable sewing crap, artsyfartsy crap, stuffed animals, chocolate, clothes, and idk what else. Maybe I'll ask for a new drive for my tablet or something, since the pos decided to stop working a month after I got it last year.
Anyone else got long lists that make them feel materialistic this year?

I'm a mix. There are lots of expensive toys that I would love, but at the same time I already have too much crap and just dont want to do Christmas this year

"Crabby hooker?" I think something was censored lol.
But youre right. We've all been through a damn lot, and every time I have a particularly bad year I always feel like I deserve more than a basketball and a freakin giftcard to IHOP.

My wishlists are always long, but I usually end up shopping for myself.
I'm sick of going through the trouble of finding nice gifts for people and getting crap in return. I'm not being ungrateful. It's just when you spend $50 on someone, and they regift something they got from someone else - you tend to get sick of it

That's what I typed. XD Gift cards are actually the best gifts to be given. That is, if you get the right gift card. I'd like a walmart prepaid visa now, kthx. Completely and totally understand. "What do you want?" "I dun know, just gimme somethin' " "-shoots-"

^Like the person I had to exchange with this year. We normally did $10 gifts just to keep the rest of the family quiet
This year she asks for something that costs $80... and all I told her I wanted was something that costs like 5.99 like wtf is that about.
So I found something somewhere comparable for $20. hopefully it's enough to get everyone off my back
there are some gifts I love to give, and then other I do out of obligation

I really love family and friend time but I love gifts as well. However, I'm sentimental about that so I really like it when someone just makes me something neat or special instead of spending money, most of the time.
