Fans just blow around the hot air IMO.
Maybe get a small window unit until y our central is fixed.

Is it a wall unit or a central unit? Maybe you need to clean or replace the filters

That sucks. Mine went out yesterday, but thankfully my dad fixed it before I had to try to sleep in a 90 degree oven of a room.

^No
you have car problems every week
having a broken ac would have made it worse
especially if youre keeping it off

lol what?
i'll take the a/c out completely, get new parts for the car (well already did) and run it for a month. the a/c has nothing to do with how the car runs. it's just an accessory. i know mechanics so i'll ask them too.

^if you allow the inside to get too hot, you are gonna screw it over, especially if you drive long distances

^It depends on the car.
A lot of old (like 2000 and older) chevys, fords, and toyotas suffer big time with no ac. Internal parts aren't supposed to get over a certain temperature.

the antifreeze prevents the engine from overheating... once again the a/c has nothing to do with the engine. the a/c blows cold air around inside your car and blows hot air out of the car. you're still using power from the engine, so the engine technically can overheat since you're forcing it to use more power. if you go to any inspection station they'll tell you that you don't need a/c and probably heat too. i'm not sure about the heat. anything you turn on will force the engine to do more work.

I've never had a/c in my car. I wonder if it is fixable?

potter... antifreeze prevents freezing and friction in the engine it doesnt help with the temperature of anything
