There are only 1,612 ad-free views per day to share in a 31 day month.
This forum operated fine on that plan. Now it seems that two users are treating this forum like an app. Please browse normally, but do not refresh every 5 seconds. Every click costs money. Every refresh counts as a click. Two people combined used 3,500 yesterday. At this rate, the forum will have to serve ads all the time again. Please browse the forum as a forum and not a social media app. Note that most of you are already doing this just fine. If you want to buy this forum an additional recurring ad-free package, there will be up to 3,225 ad-free clicks per day and we won't have to serve ads. Please don't refresh nonstop to check for likes or replies. This is not a social media app. It's a forum. It operates a little differently.
Edit:
I think Christina explains it better.
If I disable ad-free because I'm going to be making a lot of clicks to update a plugin and you see ads, ad-free views are NOT deducted during that time. So, if you are not using Tapatalk, every click every member makes deducts one ad-free view, and we only have a certain amount to share per month. If they run out, ads will be fed to everyone until the 1st of the next month. I hope that makes sense in case anyone was confused.
Guests and bots cannot benefit from ad-free viewing. Only members can benefit at the moment. If we start on day one with 50,000 ad-free views to use for the month, that means we can use 1,612 per day. If a few people, with no malicious intent at all, overzealously refresh the forum a few thousand times, we are then way over those 1,612 views per day and will inevitably run out before the end of the month, meaning that even people who are logged in will be fed ads.
If you post from Tapatalk, all the clicks and views you make will have no impact on our monthly allotment. No one is obligated to use Tapatalk. This messages serves to convey that we are all sharing ad-free views from the same pool. If one person refreshes the page thousands of times, then every other member has less ad-free views. Just continue browsing the forum as a forum, and not a social media app. We pay to remove ads so you don't have to see them, but this only accounts for a certain # of views per month.

I'm just confirming that every click and page refresh from a computer or mobile browser does in fact cost the forum one ad-free view. Only Tapatalk posts don't count against ad-free. So, every single member on this forum uses ad-free if they are not posting from Tapatalk. If a person is using an ad blocker, which is against the ProBoards ToS, every click still costs the forum one ad-free view. Per the ToS, users can only keep their ad blocker enabled when a forum pays for ad-free viewing.
