Now I really want to try first class, but IDK about the price. Yikes.

The seats are bigger and more spacious!?!? Are you still crammed next to other people or are the seats more separated? Typically the seats are wider and include individual armrests.

That sounds extremely appealing.

Yeah, I flew first class once. It was amaaaaaazing. The flight attendant came along and asked, "Coffee, tea, mimosa?" I about burst out laughing. Couldn't believe it. And we hadn't even taken off yet! LOL But yeah, the seats were bigger, individual arm rests, you get a full tray table and and actual ceramic coffee cup (not paper) and actual silverware for your food (on actual dishes, I might add). They wait on you hand and foot and call you by your first name.

The last time I was tempted to fly first class was traveling to Thailand. The tickets went from $600 economy to $6000 first class. No thank you. Even if I had enough extra disposable income to justify that, there’s a ton of things I would rather buy for $5500 than comfort for 14 hours.

Too expensive and I think not much if you aren't rich.
