I'm on the hunt for undiscovered music/artists to help spotlight them for my show. Maybe one or two a week. I was wondering where you find your music that others might not have heard of before? I am doing some hunting and did search some soundcloud but also found. These guys are great and I am so glad there is a platform like this. www.abc.net.au/triplejunearthed/Heard about these guys and haven't really delved too deep. www.reverbnation.com/main/discover?kick=241484Bandcamp is always good but hard to find artists that might not be discovered yet. bandcamp.com/Last.fm always good at tracking my music and helping share it. www.last.fm/tag/undiscovered/artistsUK one from BBC is interesting freshonthenet.co.uk/about-us/I'm also trying to find potentialy collaborative platforms to help highlight/spotlight music or even have them do the same. Anyways open to your ideas and as always thanks for your support and input.

Twitch and YouTube seem to be where people start out showcasing their music. That's where I find a lot of new talent.

Pick 2 indie artists on Spotify and then you tell it to build you a playlist on similar bands

It's so hard to be successful that all the eyes stare at you all the time like cameras eyeing on you.
On top of metaphorical cameras, literal cameras are in all of the rooms which sucks now.
Even when I know things I have to stop myself To act fool And gain more Ig that's life.
And I don't know where to find real ppl

My phone photo storage is used up. Gotta delete some old videos and fill it with indie songs

Life is better when nobody knows you. I sometimes wonder if these artists want to stay low key.

^That's why the dungeon synth community is so great. A lot of them hardly want any money for digital copies of their albums. Fatal Rewind might know some obscure sites other than Bandcamp Yeah, Bandcamp is so "obscure" that they paid artists $193 million in sales in the last year! No, that's where I get most of my music from, I don't pay attention to most other sites. If you want good, mostly fast Irish/Celtic music, try Gaelic Storm. I recommend their self-titled debut, Herding Cats, Cabbage, How Are We Getting Home?, Chicken Boxer and Full Irish the Best of Gaelic Storm albums. Bandcamp is always good but hard to find artists that might not be discovered yet. bandcamp.com/Yeah, as I had said on here a while back, I'm not finding artists all the time, it's usually only one out of 10 that I find that I like enough to post about them. I need to clean up my wishlist a bit, as there's several artists like KOAN Sound (I think their name is) where I listened to several of their releases but haven't found something I've liked yet (or maybe nothing of theirs is worth it! They might just have cool album covers and that's it!).
