Anyone can win right? Like some people won multiple times and other people never won right? I guess it depends on how active someone was or whatever. Or it all just depends.

Board of the Month is a public section of this community. It is viewable by all members, guests, and web-crawlers. Posts can only be deleted by an administrator, so please do not post anything that you are not comfortable with sharing. The topic of this board will change on the first of every month. Featured discussion threads will be moved to a read-only board at the end of every month. Topics and members are nominated and voted for by other members of this community. Although guests are able to access this board, they are not able to participate in any polls or threads. Anything you share is done so at your own risk. Keep in mind that all replies in this section are 100% public. Your posts are available to anyone who reads them. A staff member will put up the nomination threads and polls at their designated times. You can nominate one topic and one board. Any person can be nominated. Everyone who has won in the past already has the "MOTM" badge in their profile. A winner is not obligated to participate in the interview. A nominee can decline their nomination for any reason.
The information in this thread is subject to change at any time. Any questions or concerns can be PMed to me directly if they are of a private matter, or posted in Comment Box for a staff member to answer.

I guess it would take years for every active member to win?

Yes and not everyone wants to win. Some people try not to win lol because they don't want the attention.

Oh IDK. I speculate only. Some people make it a point to not draw attention to themselves during a month because they don't want to be called out for doing something noteworthy the month before.

It's cool that every winner has the badge. It makes it easy to tell who won in the past.

Yes and if you hover over their badge, you can see how many they have and how many times they won.

It's true that some want to keep a low profile. Might be why some of the oldest members never won..

IMO you want nominations to make sense either way. You pick a member who was especially active or contributed a lot to the forum over the past month, but also I noticed that new members win because the forum wants to learn more about them.
