Someone covered it above. There's an issue with spam games on a lot of forums.
Count to a million and garbage posts etc.

xea989, It's quality of posts and quantity of posts here. Not saying OP would make a spam post. Just saying quality has always been the goal.

aza, This restriction isn't there to inconvenience anyone. It's to prevent spam games from being created that run rampant on other forums. Many forums are only consumed about the quantity of posts and not the quality of posts. They have topics where people post single letters, count to a million, and all things I'd consider to be spam. The games we have generally require more than typing nonsense and require a little more thought. If you have a game idea, feel free to PM me the idea and I'll let you know if it will work as a game. Forum games need to be able to be continued without the post creator's intervention. The next response should be able to be made by anyone. They don't have to be ABC games, but those work well on forums.

My 1st game was "13 Snowballs on offer", my second game was in the {Comment Box} "Snowball fight" and It was moved to the Games forum, pretty much after the game was completed!
