This is a full-screen live stream from Cam B showing the town of Grindavik and the January volcanic eruption near the town on the Rekjanes Peninsula in Iceland. The camera is sitting on top of Þorbjörn hill, just north of the town. According to the IMO, the likelihood of a volcanic eruption increases once the volume of magma beneath the ground here reaches 8 – 13 million cubic metres. The magma volume has now reached that level and the IMO is predicting that an eruption could occur at any moment (hours to days). This live stream provides earthquake and volcanic activity information for the Grindavik area in Iceland.
