Two exotic artists today As I had posted months ago about several Irish artists, one of them was One Leg One Eye, being Irish ambient. Upon his limited edition cd almost being sold out in the last week, I ordered it, thereby getting myself on the Nyahh Records's Bandcamp notification list. They let me know that Mohammad Syfkhan's I Am Kurdish debut album is being released next week on the 14th. I don't know if the rest of the album will be listenable online but at least you can hear two songs right now, one being the title track. I was at first put off by the damn drum machine but then it gets into some serious swing. "Do Not Bow" sounds like a pretty serious instrumental for a while (due to whatever the subject matter is about) but then he starts singing in the last minute and a half or so. If the rest of the album is anywhere near as good as these two singles I'll definitely get it, filling a hole in regards to finally getting something middle eastern that I've wanted to do for quite a while. Then we have Anoushka Shankar, Ravi Shankar's daughter, probably the most famous sitar player in the world. He rose to fame when George Harrison introduced him onstage to 20,000 Beatles fans in the late 1960s or early 70s. He produced two offspring that followed into his musical footsteps, being Norah Jones and Anoushka, the latter of which I assume either improved or someone who posted a review of her on a website a long time ago that called her "boring" wasn't very worldly as far as music goes. Anyway, she has a few albums out on Bandcamp, the only one I've heard is Chapter I: Forever, For Now, which I like three out of the four tracks. Another one I'll get, but next time perhaps you'd want to clean off the mirror before you make it into an album cover, dear.

^Fatal has a niche taste, in a good way, because it introduces us to new tunes.
