I'm home. I'm alive. Owen was so excited to see me that he ran up to me, did a little dance, and demanded immediate cuddles. I have a recovery process to go through, but since I work from home in a job that requires mostly reading and writing, I should be pretty self-sufficient during this time. Thank you for all the kind words. I have directions to follow and presuming I follow them, I shouldn't do anything to disrupt the surgery. As far as I know, surgery went well, but I still have to wait for confirmation from the pathology report and the surgeon when I see him to assess my new scars. The stitches are dissolvable and currently under bandages.
The moderator who stayed with me in the hospital every day is relieved and tired, but doing well otherwise.
The moderator who was/is sick will most likely update their thread when they are better.
The other moderator who needed life-saving care is set to be released tomorrow morning and be fine as long as they follow their doctor's instructions.

@gamernerd
TY for asking. Her recovery road might be long. She has followups. Right now, she's very tired but happy to be home. She's in a bit of pain.

xea989 Thanks for the update. Me, I know how it feels when I underwent surgery 5 years ago.

Well, the pathology report came with good and bad news.
The tumor came with a very high risk for malignancy. They cut out the tumor and surrounding tissue. The surrounding tissue was clear and benign. However, there's no guarantee that the jerk tumor didn't shoot cells anywhere else in my body. They're not saying I have cancer. They're just saying they don't know if they tumor did anything else. I'd say it's unlikely I've had cancer for decades, but I'm not a medical professional. I have to meet with the surgeon next week. I then have to meet with a medical oncologist who will want to medicate and monitor me for 2-5 years. I don't know which medicine I'll be given or what type of scans they'll recommend, but I will prepare all my questions in advance of meeting the doctor.

Enjoy each day and fight like hell every step of the way.

bigballofyarn, I am so glad that things went well and that it seems things are going to be alright. I understand them wanting to keep tabs on things just to be sure and lets hope nothing untoward crops up as they do the checking and monitoring. I'm glad it seems that everyone else (pending an update from one) is going to be alright as well. I know that's the main thing all the members here care about is that everyone is safe/healthy. Please be sure to take care of yourself and follow directives so you can make a full recovery. I'm so very grateful to hear things went as well as possible/can be expected. Appreciate the update also! Sending good vibes for as easy a recovery as possible!
