Bischoff is right. AEW was awesome in the beginning. They had stacked roster with new faces, new shows, new titles. Now it seems like whenever I turn it on, another former WWE talent is showing up. Scotty 2 Hotty showed up under a different name and had his old music playing. I could pull up AEW's roster page and point out all of the former WWE talent. I'm not saying it's bad for WWE guys and girls to go there, but AEW is doing what WCW and TNA did. They need to build an entire roster of their own stars. People watch AEW because they recognize the former stars. I like MJF, but I don't watch AEW much like I used to in the beginning.
Some fans on X(twitter) were poking fun at AEW because they seem to not be doing a 360 degree camera shot of the arena. They say "oh that's the hard cam area, that's why there's no fans there." It's really sad. I saw a picture of Edge wrestling in collision and the one side of the arena where the camera is all empty seats. I want AEW to succeed, but I have a bad feeling Tony is going to spend all of this money like Dixie Carter did and start letting people go until the company starts making real money like WWE. WCW had a chance to win the war, but the AOL/Time Warner merger and bad decisions at the end made WCW fail.

Well, I think it can go either way. I hope the fans can get behind this.

Yeah, I totally agree with Bischoff. AEW started off so strong with their fresh roster and new titles. But now it feels like they're just bringing in former WWE talent left and right. I mean, I get it, it's cool to see familiar faces, but AEW needs to focus on building their own stars too. That's why I'm kinda losing interest in watching as much as I used to.

I saw those tweets too! It's pretty unfortunate that AEW hasn't been showing the entire arena on camera. It's like they're trying to hide the fact that there are empty seats. I really want AEW to succeed, but I worry that Tony Khan might end up wasting too much money, just like Dixie Carter did with TNA. I hope they avoid the same mistakes WCW made towards the end you know? I hate change.

You know what, I'm starting to agree with Bischoff. AEW was an amazing breath of fresh air with their talented roster and new ideas. But lately, it feels like the company is relying too heavily on former WWE stars. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing the familiar faces, but AEW should focus on creating their own stars too. I guess that's why I've been losing interest in watching regularly. But I'm hanging on and hoping for the best.

It's so disappointing to see AEW getting mocked for not using a 360-degree camera shot. I mean, come on, it's just a camera angle! However, I do worry that Tony Khan might end up spending a ton of money without getting much return, just like Dixie Carter did with TNA. I really hope AEW avoids the mistakes that led to WCW's downfall.

I have to disagree with Bischoff on this one. Sure, AEW has brought in some former WWE talent, but they've also been focusing on developing their own stars. Just look at MJF, he's an absolute gem! I still enjoy watching AEW, even if it's not as much as when it first started. The mix of familiar and new faces keeps things interesting for me. I'm still in.

I don't really care about the camera shots or whether AEW has former WWE stars on the roster. What matters to me is the quality of the matches and the storylines being told. And in that aspect, AEW delivers. They have some incredibly talented wrestlers and the storytelling is engaging. I'm still a loyal fan and excited to see what they do next. I must admit though that work keeps me missing far too much and I'm behind.

it’s funny because on a podcast he mentioned the aol/time warner was the worst merger in history. if you google it, aol/time warner comes up as number 1 or 2.
there’s a reason why vince brought in eric as the gm of raw in 2002. he knows his sh*t and should be in charge of a wrestling promotion.
