Don't tell me how much I suck, we just mow the lawn over the leaves, and the mulched up leaves have been around, or disentigreated for the last 10 years.

Neither. I let them blow around and stay there because I just don't care. They fall apart and go away on their own eventually.

I let them rot. I did that last year. Grass didn't die. They turned to mulch on their own.
