It shoulda been fun right?

Painting? Drawing? Getting to color as a kid?

I had the teacher from H E double hockey stick.

She expected us to be like Picaso or whoever and didn't actually teach us how to paint or draw. We were supposed to just KNOW and then show her masterpieces. To this day, I even avoid doodling.

That's pretty bad. She shouldn't be teaching any class with that approach.

I know! And I don't think they things I made were even bad for someone who didn't know how to draw. She was supposed to teach us.

My art teacher tried to mimic Bob Ross and was pretty chill, but we are talking 25 years ago.

Art was bad because it was so demoralizing. I sucked and never got better.

My teacher hated everything I drew and said it wasn't real art.

I didn't have any mean art teachers and I think elenentary art just gave us a pass or fail grade and not a real letter grade.

I always gave animals human feet and instead of it being creative, I kept getting a C- on all my art.

Teachers were too hard on me in 3rd grade art class.

I drew all my houses the same. I always put the sun at the top left. I didn't learn anything. I had fun, but I can't draw to this day.
