I'm not an old man, not that old anyway. We all still had to take a sewing class when I was in school.
I'm annoyed for a few reasons.
The things I made came out like trash.
I stabbed myself with multiple needles.
I still can't sew, not even if I wanted to patch up some pants.

I had to take sewing and cooking in the early 2000s. I can't sew or cook now.

I bet you they can't give kids needles or knives in school anymore. It's like a prison.

I took woodshop. Sewing wasn't required.i never had to see in my life. Phew.

As someone who just went to college, we were lowed knives lol.
Hugh school had plastic knives too.

I got poked so much with the needle and my teacher was so harsh! She hated us!

I had to take a seeing class but never got good at it and my teacher screamed at us every day.

I didn't have a sewing class, but I did have Home Ec. That was kinda fun.
My kids all had to take sewing in high school. Some of their projects were complete disasters. lol

I think sewing was involved in at least one class, but I can't sew now.

My local library offered a sewing class (w/ real sewing machines) every week. I attended one session. It was soooooo bad, I couldn't believe it. I'm thinking I'm better off learning from the various videos on youtube.
