Video test section.

A place where we can go to test videos. If they post then the member can create a thread, and staff can then delete the test thread. If the video for whatever reason fails to post, then the member knows, can move on and staff can also delete the failed thread.

As it now stands it is chaos. I am close to the point where I am about to give up on posting videos completely.

Best to not post too many videos at the same time either way or the AI might combine all your threads into one thread.

But posting too many new video threads in a short period of time might result in your threads all getting merged automatically. So shy away from that please.

To add, just because you see a video that might be accessible to Canada doesn't mean it'll be visible to others on the forum if there are regional blocks.

Yes there are regional blocks. If I share a video ever, I will upload to my own webserver. Can't rely on YouTube.

The thread auto merge thing is great.

Thanks everybody for the feedback, but I do believe that I will pack it in with posting videos. Too much trouble, too aggravating, too many things that can prevent the videos from showing.

The AI combination is regarding threads. Threads risk getting automatically combined if you make too many video threads in a short period of time. Or pictures threads. So, no point in making too many video threads even if you get them all to work in the test thread.

The anti-attack thing doesn't focus on test replies. It focuses topics created in a short period of time and will focus on pictures and youtube videos. So that's the warning your friends are are giving you. Don't be in a rush to create too many topics with too many videos or pictures or they'll all end up merged into super thread automatically. Or you can just create one LBJ super video thread to begin with. Then you don't need to use the test thread either. Just edit the replies with a new video if one doesn't work.
