Michael Conley Loyd, 30, reportedly said he robbed a Bank of America in Springfield, Missouri in order to "prove a point" to his girlfriend.
Authorities said the note was written in pink highlighter
Police swiftly located Loyd at a nearby mobile trailer park.
Loyd also told authorities he’d tossed his birth certificate — along with an undisclosed amount of cash — out the window of his truck
