I want to thank each and every one of you who either read or commented on my 4 historical threads that I posted.
It was a tad risky as not everyone gives a flying flipper about stuff that happened so very long ago. Frankly I was concerned that they would all fizzle and flop miserably, and that no one would even read them.
And they were a bit of work. I had to do some research in order to get the names spelled right, and to make sure that I didn't get the dates all screwed up.
Those people are us, yes it was a long time ago and it was a different culture, but they are us. We ought not to ever forget them.

I could tell they took a lot of work and research. Some people just bypass long threads. I hate when people write "TLDR" on other forums. It's really disrespectful. You (the everyone you) always get replies here.

While slightly off topic, but not really, I appreciate how this place gets what I call "real topics" and no one is obsessed with counting games and post counts.
For that I also say THANK YOU.
I'm not sure why you get antsy though. People are having a discussion about violence in American restaurants in the thread you are worried about.
