Have been trying to log out for 5 minutes...will now try again for the 10th time...wish me luck.

Wait and try again later. Every page click still costs money as an ad free view.
No need to log out manually if you don't want to though. I never clicked log out since I registered

Tested it and it worked here. That was the first time I logged out since 2011. Whoa.
Maybe Proboards has a minor blip. Wait and try again a bit later so Proboards doesn't think you are generating unusual activity with repeated clicks.

I never had any errors at all, I just couldn't log out.  Prior to, it was taking up to 30-45 seconds from the time I clicked on post for my posts to apply. Server was real slow. |

I'm sorry you were experiencing trouble. I made a mental note. I can always escalate it if the issue resumes. However, unless Owen or the 8 Ball cause these types of issues, I likely won't be able to fix issues with logging in our logging out.
