Has this been discussed before? Can we have the plug-in that lets you click on a smiley face in order to show that a specific post made you laugh? It doesn't notify the poster, unfortunately, not like clicking on the "thumbs up" icon does.

It'll notify them at the bottom of the post like Facebook does. The reaction thing won't work in V6 and we have no way to fix it when it breaks. I think it was voted against in the past due to a conflict with custom plugins. I'll check the if/what/when of it all.

I think we voted against post reactions if that's the plugin you mean. Someone else can chime in though!!

Are we talking about the plugin that makes posts look Facebook?

I think the issue was that we have our own reputation system that Christina coded and reactions would not add reputation points.. I'm not sure!

Blexrude, The reputation # is also based on more than just likes.

xea989, Will it cause conflict with custom plugins that this forum writes for itself?

Yes, it seems like it would cause a conflict with current custom features, but also I don't think there is more storage space.

V5 plugins won't work with v6.
"Reactions" might be built in by default.
Christina and her BF can only recode anything they coded themseslvs...like the 8 ball, the smiley code, etc.

I wouldn't use it. Would look like Facebook.
