Hi, Brand new to the forum. I've been looking around a lot and some things are confusing. 1. Why do I have $174.00 in my wallet? (update: it's now at $186.00...I wish this was real life.) What is the wallet? How is money earned in the wallet? What is the Bank? Where is the Bank? 2. What is reputation and how is it calculated? It's currently at 9. (update: Now, it's at 10....whuuuut?!?!)
3. Why is VGY "featured" with its own "Upload image" button? (I'm assuming I can use my own image hosting site, e.g., Imgur.) By the way, when you click on the "Upload image" button, an instruction box pops up and one of its sentences reads, "Here is a quick video on how to create a user key." When you click on the quick video link, it takes you to this forum's homepage, not a video.

You earn money with posts and replies. You don't access a bank account directly. But storing money gets you interest. You can buy stuff from the forum shop with forum currency. If you look around, most people have a pile of shop items in their mini profiles. You can use any image host you want. There are two built in to the forum. The second one is visible when you create topics.

You earn money with posts and replies. You don't access a bank account directly. But storing money gets you interest. You can buy stuff from the forum shop with forum currency. If you look around, most people have a pile of shop items in their mini profiles. You can use any image host you want. There are two built in to the forum. The second one is visible when you create topics. If I can't access my bank account (which would be illegal in the real world, btw...lol) how do I "store" money? |

Not sure why the video doesn't work for you. You can use the other built in image host or your own. Most of the reputation is based on the # of likes you receive. The rest is likely top secret.

I went from $174.00 this morning to $196.00 just now. Wow! Nothing in the real world has this kind of return.

Nothing to do with eye sight. I just flat out missed them. I think this happens whenever I'm at a new place. Things are kind of disorienting because everything is...new. |
