There is a song from way back....it goes something like this:
"I gotta be me, I gotta be free....I just gotta be meeeeee!" LOL
Why oh why do I do this? O.k. this has got to be the friendliest site that I've ever seen. So why does a site that has only 671 members need 8 mods plus an administrator? If you do the math that is one person with a banhammer per every 75 members!
It sort of makes me borderline nervous. With 9 banhammers it's a simple case of math. I'm going to eventually irritate at least one of them given enough time. LOL
Makes me feel that while my time here may be a lot of fun....it may not be for a long time. LOL

Each of us has different powers. Some can lock. Some can't. Some can edit code. Some cant. Do not worry. No reason to be nervous.

Think of it like a swift kitchen crew. Everything is cooked and prepared before you place your order. I don't think everyone has same powers. Christina is the only one who can ban.

1 can do banning 1 can help with coding A few can move threads The mods are in different countries and time zones. People take turns.  There's no  going on here. |

I used to be a mod on a small site many years ago. We never had more than 200 members. It was just me and the Administrator. With my plug ins I could lay down the ban hammer. ( I only did it once)
It's good to read that only Christina can do that. Now I only have to be diplomatic and tactful to her haaaaaa! LOL
To all the other mods I say.....bugger off! * just joking

Sir A..humor is subjective....to my mind "silly" is as good as it gets. And to that point...we will get each other given time, no problemo.
P.S. I believe that most would have figured out that I was only joking with my "brown nosing" comment. But having written that, I need to remind myself that as a newbie my comments could be taken as serious.
So...I will take an inventory of who I can joke around with, and who I cannot. lol

The staff members are nice. In my years here, I've never seen anyone be "ban happy." You can keep being yourself and sharing your views.

It actually takes A LOT for us to ban someone around here. It is not something done lightly or without reason. The mods aren’t here to police you, I promise.
I didn’t get banned back when I was a teenager, and quite frankly, I’m sure there were times where I deserved it.
