Not a wish/goal that can happen by the end of the month, but it's a long-term goal. No way do I want to work until 65. Some people don't even make it to 65. I want to enjoy more of my life.

I'd love to retire before 50. I hope it happens for you.

In America, you need to rest more. I hope you can do so.

I hope you get your wish!
My goal was 30, but that just isn’t going to happen now. New goal is 35. Wish me luck!

I either retire early or work part-time forever. A little balance.

My neighbor is in his late 80s and he doesn’t have a job, but he’s still hunting, fishing at 4am, helping his son with his well, and running a tractor. My husband was joking that “he sort of adopted us” as he’s been helping us chainsaw trees and using an excavator to help with various parts of our home build.
It’s possible to not work and yet still work. Still have a busy fulfilling life. I would never want to work, even part tine, forever in a fashion in which I don’t call the shots. But everyone wants different things. I’ve heard some people go crazy after they retire, and I imagine they don’t fill their life with hobbies and get bored.

I hate having to live check to check. I mean I have a savings, but horrible things can happen. I don't want that worry. I don't want to work 40 hours a week. I want more time to do things I love. It's weird, but, sometimes being homeless sounds appealinng. Just walk around as I please. Don't pay rent. Have a gym membership and shower there. Whatever.

I had that thought a few years ago. I’m sure I’ve suggested it before, but “Early Retirement Extreme” is a wonderful book.
