It was a remarkable specimen – the first almost complete dinosaur skeleton ever recovered Owen’s fossil became buried again in the large collection of the Natural History Museum in London. Only now – at last – a research team supervised by paleontologist David Norman from Cambridge’s Department of Earth Sciences rediscovered the specimen, and comparing it to other specimens hosted in the collections of the Bristol City Museum and the Sedgwick Museum, Cambridge, published a proper scientific description of the Scelidosaurus species.....
