Why didn't I hear about this?! I assume they only recently started studying these eggs properly and, to my knowledge, it's rare to find dinosaur eggs that still contain embryos (this is the only way to positively identify which dinosaur the eggs belong to). When you see just how big full-grown Sauropods were, it's hard to believe they started life as tiny hatchlings.

The biggest dino eggs we've got measure roughly 30cm wide, which is very small when we consider the size of the animal that laid them.
