I haven't been the best in a few months. Now I'm experiencing twitching and headaches. Doctors can't find anything wrong. Anxiety, nausea, loss of appetite, but they said nothing is physically wrong. So I went to a shrink and couldn't think of any pressing problems.

Were you actually diagnosed with Hypochondria, or are you just speculating since they didn't find a problme?

I don't know. I don't think I"m creating problems in my head. They didn't say I had anything.

I wouldn't just assume Hypochondria. A lot of times doctors take some time to diagnose your symptoms. Were you given any followup instructions?

You might just need additional opinions. You didn't get an answer yet. You weren't really diagnosed with hypochondria.

Do any of you know someone who was diagnosed?

Do any of you know someone who was diagnosed? Not in person. But an online friend on a BBS mentioned having this a while back.

OK. And no I'm not asking anyone to diagnose me. Just looking for support.

Sounds more like whatever's wrong has yet to be diagnosed. I wouldn't pin a diagnosis on yourself. Perhaps see another doctor.

Yes. I might have to wait though since it might not be considered an emergency.

I'd probably avoid an ER. Is your regular doctor's office open?

He has reduced hours, but I'm saying I'm not sure if I want to risk sitting in an office and waiting.

Of course. Do whatever you feel is right for your health. We want you to say safe.

I could always try tele-medicine, but I still think it sounds weird.
