Does anybody else find it ironic that it’s hard to reach our friends due to everybody being online, but the only people we can depend on are those we find online? Its a vicious cycle, and it would be amazing to get back to the way things were. I do tend to use a lot of social media to look for events to go to, I would much rather be out in the world and having fun.
But I agree that relationships are two way streets. If you want people to reach out, sometimes you have to be the first one to let them know thats what you want. With every relationship you have, you're always allowed to set rules and boundaries... simply let all of your friends know that you prefer one on one as opposed to fb or along those lines.

Yes and I dont want to talk to friends through facebook. Then IRL they start sentences with, "Did you see my fb post?" Just tell me what's wrong!
