So, I've gone from 45 hours a week to 35 by choice. The 35 might be moving home within the next few days, but the goal was to minimize work stress and have less on my plate. Thank you BotM for the encouragement.

Good going. I'd definitely take more rest.

Thank you. More money never made me happier. I genuinely enjoy free time over money.

It's a great thing to do if you can afford it. But if paying bills causes more stress, keep your hours.

Good for you. Some people work themselves to death and that's not fun.

I second this emotion. I work too many hours. I'm looking to go from 50 to 35 myself.

Ideally, I want to switch to part-time and start a family.

Good for you. WIth all this being forced to stay home, I realize I want to be home more than I am. You can always get more money. You can't get more time.

Yes, cutting hours was the best thing I ever did. The extra time made me feel so much happier and healthier. It didn't matter that I cut into my savings a little. I needed to FEEL WELL!

Bravo to everyone who realized that money isn't the key to happiness. It's doing what actually makes you happy and giving yourself the time and freedom to do it.

My hours were cut to support the quarantine, but I think I'm going to prefer working less.

I have to collect unemployement the next few weeks. I think it's different when it's forced upon you. I admire those of you who can work less hours and not feel pressured.

What will you all do with your free time now that nothing is open?

^The outside is still open. I think we can still walk around state parks and enjoy nature.
