Oh god, if you ever want your Twitter mentions to blow up, get on there and ask for assistance with a logo design for your esports/stream team. Good god that was exhausting...

So, this is all a new process to me, asking for assistance from a professional designer for some work done for an upcoming project. So I posted on Twitter and suddenly the flood of follows and comments to 'DM for assistance'. I don't know how all this works out so... I know it's all commission based, I'm not trying to waste anyone's time or use them or whatever, but I'm not familiar with the process and then some designers go about it all differently. So, now I feel like I have kind of wasted some people's time because we got down to the end of what I was looking for, started quoting the rates for the work, and now I realize I have to hold off on doing this, especially in light of the fact that I will be moving here shortly... Finally... *sigh*

You can also get graphics made for free from artists. It's their fault for not giving you quotes up front. A lot of them are on Twitter while in their office. So don't even feel badly.

Not your fault. But, if you post again, you could state a budget and ask for quotes up front.

I think you'll also find a lot of people eager to do it for free, just to get some experience. I wouldn't pay a random Joe on Twitter to do work for me.

If they aren't what you want, don't feel badly for them. It's like how plumbers and contractors come out and give free estimates. Most of the time they go home w/o a job.

Doesn't proboards support have a whole section for free graphic design even if it's not pb related?

I don't know, haven't checked. When I was big around the forums in the past, it was always ProBoards specific requests only.
