Secret Santa 2019

We had a small exchange last year and I was wondering if anyone would be interested again this year. This thread is just to gauge how many people are interested. You have until November 8th to decide. You do not have to send me your information until we decide whether or not an exchange will occur this year.

-If you don't celebrate Christmas, you are still welcome to participate.

-You will NOT be required to ship to another country unless you are okay with that.

-Gifts should be at least $30. This does NOT include the cost of shipping. If you would prefer a smaller/cheaper exchange of $5-$10, voice that in your reply.

-If I decide to participate, I will know my Santa, but my elf won't know me.  Let me know if you have any ideas as to how we could keep the element of Secret Santa alive for my Santa and me.

-You would be sending me your name and address, which would then be sent to your Santa. You do not have to include your full name. You can use your forum name.

-You would also be sending me a list of likes and a wish list for gifts that will be sent to your Santa to make his/her life easier.

-The person to whom you send gifts will not be the same person who sends you gifts. If only the same people participate, you may end up with the same elf or Santa as a previous year. If that bothers you, take it into consideration when deciding whether or not to participate.

-If this thread does not generate enough interest, the exchange may not occur.

Well see now the answer is simple. If you want to be bigballofyarn's Santa, then private message me in here when the time comes instead of the secret Santa thread. I'll pick someone and then everyone else can go post in the thread (or I'll just out everyone else).

Ah but how will the matches work? If Santa gets Christina and she doesn't know Santa is in the swap, who will be Santa's Santa?

Well i suppose Christina would need to tell me who the mystery person's Santa... Or something like that. I'm sure we can make it happen

I have mixed feelings about the $5-10 idea because shipping sometimes costs more than that. What would make it worthwhile?

Whatever price we decide is always just the minimum. $5 is a little too small in my opinion. $15 would be better for a cheaper exchange.
