Anyone ever have trouble sleeping in the summer because everyone else is awake so late and making noise outside?

Central air isn't any better. It's just quieter in the room. It's a loud mess in the basement.

I couldn't sleep at all last night. It was my first night with insomnia in over a month.

Family and friends tend to give me summer stress. I don't like having to see everyone.

It's just as bad in the summer as the winter.

Spring and summer always cause a problem with noise here, which is why I bought a white noise machine a few years ago (I recommend Lectrofan). I also bought earplugs and sleep with one earplug in whichever ear isn't lying against my pillow. Now I have no noise issues at night
