Your friend's car has no AC and you are literally sick to your stomach? Not figuratively. Literally about to throw up or faint in the car. How are some people so inconsiderate. I even offered to buy him one of the chargers from a car shop and install it for him. I offered to pay for the repairs. Why do some people WANT me to die?

Oh, he drives because mine has a boot. Am I wrong for expecting cars to have working AC when it's 100+ outside? I thought I did right for offering to pay for it.

I think some people are scared of repairing their car. I don't know why. Like the people who tape up a window rather than fix it. A new window doesn't cost anything. And you offered to pay, so he's nutty. And maybe paranoid. Like some people are scared of things working. Something always has to be wrong. Does that make sense?

Oh Hannah might be on to something. I had a friend who never wanted to fix his truck, even the $20 repairs that would have saved him from bigger problems. Keeping the car cool internally is a good thing. Tell him he's going to have to scrap that car if he doesn't keep it cool if your summmers get over 100.

I get very sick in hot cars too. I also would offer to pay for the can first, and then for a mechanic to do an overview. I don't know why he's refusing your gift.
