I am struggling to make new friends. Everyone wants to drink, party, and post on Snapchat, and I am way too old for that. How did adults get sucked in to this too? I end up staying at home nonstop. I tried to ask on another website and they all teased me for being a grown man who did not want to go to clubs. *shrugs*

Same. I don't get why some people never grew out of their tweens. I don't want to drink and "get high." I want nothing to do with that lifestyle.

I don't know why, but it really is hard to meet people who don't want to party and I'm in my 30s. Shouldn't people my age be over this by now?

Do any of you remember actually going out with friends? Being outdoors? Going out to dinner? Movies? When did clubs and drinking become the only way to socialize?

I met some good, mature people at church. They also referred me to friends they knew at work.
