All my friends live in the computer? I don't really do social media, but I do forums. I don't see many people in person and it bothers me.

I guess they "count" but they're not really people who would go to your wedding or funeral, are they?

I consider all of you my forum friends. I do try to have IRL friendships too.

It's hard when you like being online more than you like going to a club or a bar etc. So, I tend to talk to everyone on the computer.

I'm not big on social media either, but I do use forums to interact. It's easier to get out all your thoughts w/o the other person interrupting.

My computer pals are not just computer pals. I text a lot of you guys. You are people I care about outside the internet.

I use a lot of dating apps, and FB to meet people. I generally don't meet any of them in person. I guess it's how the world evolved, or devolved. *shrugs*

I'm a nerd. I have a desk job. I don't work in the fast world or go to bars. So I tend not to meet other males to make friendships. I make friends online. I have social interaction throughout the day because I can post here at home and during work. I don't mind so much that I never see any of you in person.

Ideally, I'd have more friends in person. I don't know what happened. I grew up before phones and social media, but people drifted away and I got tired of being the only one who made any effort.

Let's just say that if I ever have the chance to go to a forum meetup, I'd love to meet all of you. I consider you all my friends.

Of course people online are real friends. They provide love and emotional support. They can tease you and joke with you. They are good people with good hearts. If everyone could travel for free, I'm sure I'd see them more.

All my friends live in the computer, too. It would be nice to have friends whom I actually see, but even as a kid, I've never found it easy to make and maintain friendships. I remember in primary school, I had a couple of friends who were slightly older than me. When they left and went to secondary school, I though 'Great! I'll be going to that secondary school, too, and I'll have some friends when I get there!' But I turned out to be wrong. By the time I got to secondary school, the kids I'd previously been friends with had moved on, made new friends and forgotten about me. Same. I'm totally introverted.

Most of my friends are online. I get uncomfortable with groups.
