You'd think that all the worrying would burn calories. My doctor thinks that stress actually causes you to gain weight. I guess I see both sides.

Stress can keep your sluggish if you get more of the down and depressive state. I've had Stress,Anxiety and Depression effect me through all of my life and lost weight due to lack of interest in food and or just not doing anything. Stress eating can also cause you to gain weight, though with me i'm the oppisite and don't eat as stress effects my stomach.

Anxiety keeps a boulder around my belly because I don't exercise when I'm stressed.

Anxiety has me bingeing on sweets. It's never a pretty journey. For me, I gain a bit.
