I know it might be annoying, but you could knock on a few immediate neighbors' doors and see if they received your delivery by mistake.

UPS is still telling me that the claim is open and under investigation.

honestly not a bad idea. I had to do this a few years ago with a fedex envelope. Turns out two houses down got it and kept forgetting to call fedex and tell them.

UPS still has no answers about the original gift and did not refund Santa.

HOWEVER, your very thoughtful Santa found a completely different replacement gift, and it will arrive on Christmas Eve!!

Well they are UPS jerks. If it was me I would click the dispute button on the credit card.
