I’ve seen very few movies or tv shows to begin with but if I do watch a movie, I don’t want to watch somebody getting their head cut off or children murdered. My SO loves these films and I typically just put my headphones on and get lost in music.
Anybody else?

I mean horror is a super wide genre so saying that you hate all of them seems kind of weird. You got any examples? There are a TON of horror films without gore.  |

What about war movies where civilians get murdered and children die? War is the real horror.

Kina agree. Like, I’m not afraid of poltergeist pulling me into the tv or Freddy killing me in my sleep. I just don’t need the visual of the final destination log truck killing my GF and I or saw showing me what it looks like when I cut my hand off with my mitre box in the garage.

I was watching that new show on Netflix before bed, called the haunting of hill house....
There is one scene where they are talking about the ceiling dripping water in her sleep and then they show it... Nothing scary.
Then I dreamed that my ceiling was leaking on me in my apartment.
