Built a decent Human Warlock on D&D Beyond, but now i have no idea what to do. so far its just me and my girlfriend, she actually is the one that sparked my interest. she used to play a lot a few years ago.
does anyone know any good resources to get started on adventures? i have the players guide and the starter set but thats where it ends.

Is this the "board game" version, or an online kinda version?
If "board game" version you absolutely have to have a top notch dungeonmaster, and while you can get away with just a couple players it's much more fun to have several. You need warriors, bards, clerics, magi's, etc all in the party.

are you playing online or a board game? no, we thought about getting the board game, we were sitting at boarders with both in our hand trying to figure out which way to go. but the guy next to us jumped in our conversation at the cafe and gave his 2 cents, which we really appreciated. he said the board game was a lot different from the traditional adventures and that if you want to really get the best of D&D that you should probably start with the adventures first.

I recommend meetup.com look on there for a group that needs 2 players.

There is probably a local game store near you? Ask someone who works there. Or maybe craigslist?

have you ever watched any of the steams of people playing DnD? A couple of popular ones are Critical Role, Dice Camera Action, Force Gray, The C Team. These usually stream live on Twitch but you can also watch them on YouTube.
