Your thoughts on just stopping the job search and resting? I mean we all "need" money in a sense, but we need our sanity too.
Does it reward you or make you feel lazy?

Your mental health should always come first. No need to force yourself into 40+ hours per week if you feel drained.

Yes. You don't have to work yourself to death.

Money won't buy you time, rest, or life. If you have time to rest, relax, and enjoy your life, then do it without hesitation.

We all feel lazy if we don't work, but it's perfectly fine to rest.

I can't even figure out where I "learned" this or if it's just in our culture.

It's cultural. My friends in other countries take vacations twice a year and don't think of it as a waste of money.

See, I couldn't do that. If it's not in the bank, or paying a doctor bill, or for food, it's a waste.

Scary right? At what point did we start ignoring our mental well-being?
